We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect who wants to make an impact on the European FinTech-arena.

Today, all new development is cloud born and carried out in a Microsoft environment with .NET Core / .Net 6.0 and Azure DBs always using the latest development environments and tools. We work in Scrum teams and scale using our own framework SPACe, Söderberg & Partners Agile Continuous exploration. The teams work in close cooperation with the business, balancing the needs of today with the requirements of tomorrow.

About the role

We are looking for a Solution Architect who is passionate about creating scalable solutions in complex business domains, utilizing modern platforms, tools, and technologies. Candidates for the role will be trusted to drive the overall technical vision and implementation, acting as the bridge between business opportunities and the technology addressing them. The candidate will fully be able to utilize their deep understanding of software development and technology, as well as their servant leadership and excellent people skills.

Your contribution

• You will be providing architectural leadership to a group of talented software engineers from diverse backgrounds, sharing a vision to revolutionize the advisory space
• You will act to facilitate future-proof integrations of systems and components with a mix of modern setups and legacy code
• You will, at rare occasions, use your understanding of hands-on software development to provide proof-of-concepts and give occasional coding support when needed
• You will vigorously spread knowledge and act as a missionary for the technical roadmap, often by traveling for e.g. local networking, workshops, and planning event

About you

• 5-10 years of hands-on coding experience, preferably working in a Scrum and/or SAFe environment
• 5-10 years of experience as a solutions architect or similar
• Multi-year experience of working with .Net and Azure
• Experience with setting up and managing large, loosely connected, microservice systems
• Experience with working in an environment with many development teams, preferably in a multi-country setup
• Deep understanding of the business within financial services, preferably with insurance experience
• Effective communication skills in Swedish and English
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
• Passion for growing your skills, tackling interesting work, and challenging problems
• Experience in international roles is a plus
